Cut samples
A cut piece of the actual wallcovering, sent to you so that colour, texture and lustre can be judged where they will be used.
Up to ten per request
As a rule we send up to ten cut samples per request. If you need more, please ask.
Delivery
In Japan, cut samples normally arrive within three to four days. Delivery to Canada takes longer, and we will confirm the timing when we reply.
Availability
A small number of products have no sample available. We will tell you if that applies to your request.
Students
Students of interior design may receive up to three samples of stocked wallcoverings, with some exceptions, at our showrooms.
Please return what you no longer need
As part of our commitment to sustainable development, we collect used cut samples. When you have finished with them, we would be grateful if you returned them to us.
Sample book loan
If you cannot visit a showroom, borrow the books themselves and look through a whole collection at your office or at home.
Three books at a time
Choose up to three sample books, including the books for Tomita’s original collections.
Ten days
Please send the books back within ten days of their arrival.
Free of charge
The loan itself is free. We ask only that you cover the shipping one way.
First request
The first time you borrow, we will call to confirm and send a short application to sign and return. From the second request on, this step is not needed.
For specifying only
Sample books are lent for choosing products. We decline loans for copying, reproduction or any other purpose.
